Product Introduction

The choke valve, a main Description of Christmas tree, is design to control production rate of the oil well, with working pressure up to 10000psi. Choke valves can be classified as follows: Adjustable choke valves and positive choke valves.

By rotating hand wheel to drive the stem, the adjustable choke valve is designed to adjust the effective area available for the flow to accomplish control of production rate. The positive choke valve is design to accomplish control of production rate by changing flow beans.

The hydraulic choke valve is employed on manifolds and other assemblies and designed for flow control. In order to control flow rate, the hydraulic choke valve uses the valve core which can be lifed and lowered to adjust the effective area available.

How to maintain a choke valve?

• Every seal element is replaced according to itsexamination.
• As leak appears at the middle one of the valvebores, ring gasket should be replacedThe valve should be placed in the dry and airy room,and the inlet and outlet are sealed properly.
• When the product is stored, the end flanges shouldbe coated by oil against rust and dirt pollution.
• The valve-core and the valve-seat must be exam-ined every in a well time. The attrition rate will decidewhether they are used by upset or are replaced.
• There is a bit leak at a couple of seals of valve, andthe sealing-face may have scratch or wear. Renovationwill be done under face-off and ground finish..
